Alex Karman was born and raised in Minnesota, where the flat horizons, bitter winters, and working-class grit shaped his earliest worldview. Minnesota itself was the perfect backdrop for his formative years. The state’s rugged balance of urban grit and rural toughness gave Alex both resilience and imagination.
